Sitting at the table
Staring into your deep blue eyes
I wonder if I am allowed to say it.


The words used to come naturally
But now I am not sure
If they are appropriate.


My throat hurts with the suppressed need
To tell you
But I dare not say the words.


Sadness creeps onto your face
And I wonder
Do you feel the same?


You shut the pain away
And giving me one last stare
You turn around and leave.


I close my eyes
Against the flood of tears
A silent scream

Und gleich noch ein Lob, ich finde gefallen ein deinem Stil;). Auch wenn aus dem Gedicht technisch gesehen noch mehr herauszuholen wäre, finde ich den Eindruck den deine Wortwahl bei mir hinterlässt einfach schön. Ich habe klare Bilder vor Augen, während ich lese und das habe ich bei wenigem dass ich bis jetzt hier gelesen habe.
