Autumn Impressions

Autumn Impressions

Dedicated to – yes, I would say – a friend, who cradled me gently in turbulent times

Foggy patches floating on the water,
Softly diminishing, giving tribute to the early sun.
A bell from a nearby church
Mixes with the cry of a bird and
Other noices of the awakening day.

On the surface of the water
A duck leaves curling waves, drifting apart.
Fallen leafs, looking beautiful and dead alike
Are covering the pathes like a carpet,
Rustling quietly under a gust of wind.

Moments of marvellous peace,
Ignoring all problems ahead,
Beautify and brighten the new day,
Turning fear and fright
Into happiness and joy.
