Übersetzungen

Schreibt doch mal Übersetzungen . Oder kommentiert einfach eine, die hier eingebracht wurde

Auf die Idee hat mich presque gebracht, deren schöner Diskussionsthread dazu leider nicht mehr erweiterbar, weil ins Lupanum Archiv verschoben ist.

Daraus ist der folgende Übersetzungsversuch, mit leichten Änderungen.


Viel Spass

To one who has been long in city pent,

I did not realize before that when you are translating your own text, you almost certainly fix an interpretation.

Yes, now I had to talk while writing anew .

As regards the last verse, I think that I did not fully grasp the original German intention in the English. But as you pointed out, in English it has also an interesting bandwidth of interpretations.

By the way, what did you mean with sinus instead of E flat? An acoustic sinus wave or more a sinus in medical terms?
