The taste of my coffee part 2 | 3 years later

Welcome to my office, you’re finally home
One cactus has died and one hasn’t grown
Look out of the windows, the view on the street
Most houses are different, there’s far less concrete
The chatter of students sinks in from below
A church bell rings, but we won’t go

Here on the table, still all that we are
Mirrored just partially with added memoire
My four dancing kittens, the moon still in sight
Your figure that’s broken but he’ll be alright
Sit down for a coffee, the couch black and red
The sleepwalkers join us, and so do the dead

Welcome to my office, today it’s less bare
A little more cluttered, a little more rare
One wall has a ghost, the other a skull
It might not be perfect, but surely not dull
The view is much nicer, the company too
A little more me and a little more you
