Our life is not the things we see.
It’s much more the summary,
of the things we remember and the things we keep.
Drives in their cars with bottles of beer in their hands,
spiders building webs at night,
a girl with brown hair, blue jeans,
a white shirt and beautiful brown eyes.
I wonder what that means to me.
We give meaningless things a meaning,
so we don’t seem so small.
Because we can’t stand the feeling
of leaving this world without applause.
